Get started using Jamboard in meetings

You can set up your Jamboard for video meetings. Pair Jamboard to a room’s Google Calendar and display upcoming events on the board and join a meeting. If you use Google meeting room hardware and a Jamboard in the same room, you can pair them to collaborate in meetings. And, you can use accessibility tools in video meetings.

Book a Jamboard from a Calendar event

You can set up a Jamboard so that users can book it as an available resource for a Google Calendar event. That way, they know the Jamboard will be available for their meeting. The Jamboard’s upcoming events appear on the board. A user can join the meeting from the Jamboard to hold their brainstorming session. And people who join the meeting remotely can view the brainstorming, too.

This setup is ideal for smaller rooms (2–4 people) where everyone can see the Jamboard. See Add a Jamboard as Calendar resource.

Use Jamboard with Hangouts Meet hardware

For rooms that have Hangouts Meet hardware, you can set up the Jamboard to present directly as the main display in the room. People in the room can then use the Jamboard to present to everyone in the ongoing meeting.

This setup is ideal for larger meeting rooms used mainly for videoconferencing. See Use Jamboard with Hangouts Meet hardware.
