Join a session or open a jam using a web viewer

To view a live session on a Jamboard, you can use the web viewer. You can also use it to view jams that you’ve created or that have been shared with you.

Note: Currently the web viewer has a limited set of features compared to the phone and tablet apps. You can’t use it to comment on or edit jams or to connect to video calls.

Join a session using the web viewer

  1. Sign in to your G Suite account.
  2. Go to https://jamboard.google.com.
  3. Click Join Join.
  4. Enter the session access code and click OK.

Open a shared jam

  1. Sign in to your G Suite account.
  2. Go to https://jamboard.google.com.
  3. Click a jam to view the content.

What else can I do with the web viewer?

  • Click More More and then Rename a Jam. Enter the new name and click OK. The change is immediate.
  • Click More More and then Remove a Jam to removes the jam from your list. You’ll no longer be able to view it, but it will still be visible to other users.

Web viewer limitations

  • You can only view jams at this time. You can’t cast or comment on jams from the web viewer.
  • Revision history is not supported in the web viewer. You'll only see the latest saved version of a jam in your web viewer.
