Use the Google Admin console to view, modify, and update settings for Jamboards in your domain.
Change settings for all of your Jamboards
At the top right, click Settings .
Click a setting to change it. See the list of settings below.
Enter a message up to 120 characters that displays on the Jamboard screen saver.
When saving a jam at a board, strict sharing requires the owner of a jam to confirm by email.
You can set a timeout value for all Jamboards in your domain. After a Jamboard is inactive for the set period of time, a message is displayed notifying users that they can either keep the jam open or it will be closed immediately. Note: If the jam does not have an owner, it will not be saved.
Change settings for one Jamboard
Use the Google Admin console to view, modify, and update settings for your Jamboard.
- Click a board to view and edit its settings.
To search for specific boards, at the top, click + Add a filter. Select a filter such as the board Name, Location, Note, Health, or Status.

When you select a board, the following displays in Device information:
- Wi-Fi access point BSSID
- Wireless media access control address (MAC address)
- Wireless IP address
- Wi-Fi signal strength—received signal strength indicator (RSSI)
- Wired MAC address
- Wired IP Address
- Wi-Fi link speed (Mbps)
- Serial number
- Date activated

- Build version
Change Jamboard settings
To edit a setting, on the right of the Device settings section, click the down arrow , then click the name of the setting. After changing a setting, click Save.
For some settings, you can choose whether users can edit the setting from the Jamboard.
Set a unique name to identify your Jamboard.
Enter the location of your Jamboard (such as the conference room where you use it).

|Screensaver timeout (minutes)||
Set how long (in minutes) the Jamboard can be idle before the screen saver activates. The maximum delay you can set is 1440 minutes (1 day).
|Demo mode||Choose whether an interactive demo displays on the board. Learn more about turning on demo mode.|
Add the Wi-Fi network name.
|Notes||Add a note about the Jamboard.|
|Send log data to Google||
Choose whether to send data to Google.
Choose a language to be used on the Jamboard. Jamboard currently only supports English and Japanese.
Set the time zone for the Jamboard.
Add an additional keyboard for the Jamboard. Jamboard currently only supports English and Japanese.
