Find what’s changed on a whiteboard

This feature is currently available on the web.

If you have permission to edit a whiteboard, you can see changes that have been made to a whiteboard in the version history.

Compare & name earlier versions

  1. On your computer, open a whiteboard at jamboard.google.com.
  1. At the top, click More and thenSee version history.
  2. Click an earlier version.
  3. (Optional) To name a version, click More and thenName this version.
  4. (Optional) To return to the current version, at the top, click Back Back.

Restore an earlier version

  1. On your computer, open a whiteboard at jamboard.google.com.
  2. At the top, click More and thenSee version history.
  3. Click an earlier version.
  4. At the top, click Restore this version and thenRestore.

Copy an earlier version

If you don’t want to restore an earlier version of a whiteboard, you can make a copy and edit it instead.

  1. On your computer, open a whiteboard at jamboard.google.com.
  2. At the top right, click More and thenSee version history.
  3. Next to the version, click More and thenMake a copy.
  4. Enter a name for your copy.
  5. Choose where to save the whiteboard.
  6. (Optional) To share the whiteboard with the same people, click Share it with the same people.
  7. Click OK.

Unable to see a previous version of your whiteboard?

The revisions for your jam may occasionally be merged to save storage space.
