The Jacquard app will walk you through the steps to set up Jacquard.
What you need to get started
To set up your Jacquard item, you need:
- Your Jacquard item and accompanying Jacquard Tag
- A supported Android or iOS mobile phone

For Android, you need a phone running Android 6.0.1 or newer.
- For iOS, you need an iPhone 6® or newer running iOS 11 or newer.
- Use with a tablet is not recommended.

- Latest version of the Jacquard app
- A Google Account
- An internet connection (during setup only)
- Bluetooth enabled on your mobile phone

Set up Jacquard
Android
- Install the Jacquard app by visiting the Google Play Store.
- Open the Jacquard app
. Tap Get Started.
- Choose or add the Google Account you want to link to Jacquard. Tap NEXT.
- Tap Agree to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- You will see a screen that lets you choose how you want to be notified. Tap Agree after selecting.
- Select your specific Jacquard item.
- To let Jacquard access the location of your device, tap Allow. On Android, location services are required for Bluetooth. Learn more about location access.
- To pair your Jacquard Tag, press and hold the button on the right side of the Tag for three seconds.
- Once the Tag is identified, select the serial number in the app that matches the last 4 digits of the number on the back of your Tag.
- Tap Pair.
- To allow Bluetooth pairing, tap Pair.
- Insert your Tag in the port on your Jacquard item.
- Find the port location for your specific Jacquard item

- Find the port location for your specific Jacquard item
- Your Jacquard item is now active. Tap Next to see what your touch can do.
- Tap Learn More to go through an interactive tutorial of Jacquard gestures.
- Jacket: Brush In, Brush Out, Double Tap, and Cover
- Backpack: Brush Up, Brush Down, Double Tap, and Cover

- When you see All set, you'll get a summary of Jacquard featured abilities, actions, and alerts. Tap OK.
Looking good! You're now ready to interact with Jacquard.
Levi's® Commuter Trucker Jacket (2017) with snap tag
- Install the Jacquard app by visiting the Google Play Store.
- Open the Jacquard app
. Tap Get Started.
- Choose or add the Google Account you want to link to Jacquard. Tap NEXT.
- Tap Agree to accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- You will see a screen that lets you choose how you want to be notified. Tap Agree after selecting.
- Select Commuter Jacket
I look fabulous.
- The Jacquard app will ask you to activate the snap tag by plugging into any USB port. When ready, tap Tag is ready.
- To let Jacquard access the location of your device, tap Allow. On Android, location services are required for Bluetooth. Learn more about location access.
- Tuck and snap tag into the jacket cuff.
- To pair your jacket, select the corresponding serial number that matches the label on the inside right corner of the jacket.
- If the serial number of the jacket does not display, unsnap the tag and then reattach to the jacket. Tap Search Again.
- Once the jacket is found, pairing will start automatically. Tap Interact with your cuff to see a visualizer of your new threads.
- Tap Learn More to go through an interactive tutorial of Jacquard gestures: Brush In, Brush Out, Double Tap, and Cover. To learn more about gestures, see Jacquard gestures.
- You will then see the All Set screen. This screen gives a recap of featured abilities, actions, and alerts. Tap OK.
