Updating Internet Routing Registry (IRR) data to peer with Google

Google uses Internet Routing Registry (IRR) data to build inbound routing filters that we apply to all of our peers on AS15169. It’s important to keep all of your IRR data up to date. We collect data from RADB, RIPE, APNIC, AFRINIC, ARIN, LACNIC, NTT, and Level3 among others, check the FAQ section for a complete list. If you use an IRR database that’s not listed, contact our NOC and we’ll review.

For more information about BGP Best practices and IRR please review BCP194 (BGP Operations and Security) and RFC2650 (Using RPSL in Practice).

Other Google Autonomous Systems (e.g. AS36040,  AS43515, AS36561, AS11344, etc.) don’t yet have filtering.
