You can update BGP details for a node via the ISP Portal Asset view. Select the Configuration tab, edit the technical details, and click Update. Our automated systems validate the change and push updated BGP configurations. This may take several hours. BGP sessions may be down temporarily; users will be served using a cached list of prefixes.
If the ISP portal does not show you the Configuration interface, email ggc@google.com stating your change requirements. We will carefully coordinate BGP changes to avoid user impact.
You don’t need to notify us of changes to your advertisements. Our systems automatically receive the new prefixes. You may need to wait for around an hour for changes to be processed by our mapping systems, and for traffic flows to change.
You can review the prefixes we receive in the ISP Portal BGP view. There will be a delay between changes to prefix announcements and update to the portal BGP view.
