An ad's type of placement on the page. The structure and UI of the page depends on the platform on which the ad is displayed and other factors.

Values in Hotel Ads reports often indicate slots with the following notation:

  • "A": The priority slot that is always displayed; includes a booking link. There are typically two positions in slot "A".
  • "M": The ad (with booking link) that is displayed only after a user clicks "More Rates". There are typically four positions in slot "M".
  • "Z": The ad was not shown.

The slot position of an ad within the slot type ("A" or "M") is typically zero-indexed, meaning "0" is the most favorable position; "-1" indicates that your ad was not shown.
