How to Extend or Cancel your Hire Contract

Note: You will need to work with your G Suite Admin to make any changes to your Hire contract. 

 

This article outlines the options available for Hire service as of September 1, 2019. It includes the steps that your G Suite Admin will need to take in the billing section of the G Suite Admin console

Important: We recommend that a Hire Admin exports your company’s data (Jobs, Candidate Profiles, and Feedback) from Hire before your Hire contract ends, or September 1, 2020, whichever comes first. You will not be able to access your Hire account to export your company’s data once your Hire contract ends.

 

Option 1: Extend Hire service until September 1, 2020 at no cost

  • From the G Suite Admin console Home Page, go to Billing 

  • Under Subscriptions, find your Hire subscription

  • Next to Renewal Options confirm Auto-renew is turned ON 

  • If Auto-renew is turned OFF you can update your renewal setting by clicking Change 

 

 
  • Select Auto-renew my contract. Click Save

 

Option 2: Cancel Hire service as of your contract expiration date

 
  • From the G Suite Admin console Home Page, go to Billing 

  • Under Subscriptions, find your Hire subscription

  • Next to Renewal Options change the default option from "Auto-renew my contract on xxxx" to  "Cancel my service at the end of my term"

  • Access to Hire will be removed on your contract end date

 






 

Option 3: Cancel Hire service effective immediately

 
  • From the G Suite Admin console Home Page, go to Billing 

  • Under Subscriptions, find your Hire subscription

  • Click Actions and then Cancel subscription

 
  • Check the box Cancel my subscription now and delete all data and licenses with immediate effect

  • No closeout charge will be applied to your account

  • Click CONTINUE WITH CANCELLATION

  • Access to Hire will end on the date you cancel

 

NOTE: If you created a G Suite domain to purchase Hire, please follow the instructions to close that down here. Those instructions will help your G Suite Admin to cancel G Suite and delete a domain. If you don't remember the password, you should use https://support.google.com/a/contact/recovery_form to file a case to recover access.
