Time to fill report

The Time to fill report is designed to answer questions like:
- How long does it take to fill my jobs?
- How does time to fill performance compare between departments or recruiters?
In the Days to fill chart, small circles indicate a single job. Larger circles indicate multiple jobs that took the same number of days to fill. The vertical bar indicates average days to fill.
You can use filters to narrow down your results by job creation date range, job, recruiter, or hiring manager.
How does it work?
Days to fill is calculated by subtracting the date the job was created from the date the candidate’s state was changed to hired. If you close a job and then reopen it, the report will view the job creation date as when the job was reopened for candidates who were hired after the job was reopened. The original job creation date will still be used for candidates who were hired before the job was reopened.
Jobs with multiple hires will appear multiple times in the chart, once for each hire. For example, if you make the first hire on a job 15 days after the job was created and the next hire 20 days after the job was created, you will see that job represented twice in the chart: once at 15 days to fill and once at 20 days to fill.
Filter your view by department or recruiter
Updates to jobs and candidates can take up to 24 hours to be reflected in reports but are typically reflected within an hour.
- Sign in to Hire.
- On the left, select Reports Time to fill.
- At the top, select a date range.
- This date range applies to the job creation date.
To the right of the date range, select any filters you’d like to apply to the report.
Select Sheets to export your report data.
To export a report, pop-up blockers need to be disabled and Hire needs to be connected to Google Drive.
The Time to fill report replaces the Time to hire report. Now you can:
See how long it takes to fill jobs grouped by specific department or recruiter.
