Historical pipeline report

This article is for Admins and Reporters.

The Historical pipeline report is designed to answer questions like:

  • How many applications did I receive last month?

  • How far did those applications advance?

  • What percent of candidates advance from one stage to the next?

  • What percent of my candidates are hired?

This report summarizes all applications you’ve received over a period of time to help you gain a better understanding of the flow of candidate applications through the hiring process. You can use filters to narrow down your results by application date range, recruiter, hiring manager, job, source, department, and hiring process.

Updates to jobs and candidates can take up to 24 hours to be reflected in reports but are typically reflected within an hour.

Reports only show candidate applications that you have access to based on your system roles and job permissions. Contact a Hire Admin for reporting on all candidates.

Here's what's new

The Historical pipeline report replaces the Conversion rates report. Now you can:

  • See the overview of all your candidate applications at a glance

  • View custom hiring stages when you’ve filtered to jobs that all have the same hiring process

  • Hovercards help you gain a better understanding of your reporting data and allow you to easily view the candidates represented in a specific part of a chart

FAQ

Why does my historical pipeline chart show candidates moving through stages that aren't shown in the export?

To give you access to more granular data, the Sheets export shows the actual stage transitions that occurred within Hire, while the report chart simplifies these transitions to make it easier to see the bigger picture.
For example, the report chart within Hire considers that if someone was marked Hired, they will be counted as moving from New through every stage until the Hired stage, even if some stages were skipped in between. So if you moved someone from Interview directly to Hired, or moved someone from New to Interview, the exported sheets would have those actual transitions, while the chart would show them passing through the stages in between.

Why don’t I see active candidates in this report?

This report doesn’t include active candidates. Active candidates are shown in the Active pipeline report.
