Export Hire data to Sheets

Admins can export various sets of Hire data to Sheets for further analysis. You'll find your custom fields, such as evaluation criteria and application questions, included in these data exports. The raw data found in these exports can be applied to additional reports and used in pivot tables, charts, and Sheets Explore Explore.

Export applications and jobs data

This export will include the data associated with all candidate applications and jobs created and collected in Hire.

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Reporting and then Export data.
  3. To the right of "Application data," select Export sheet. If you haven’t connected to Google Drive, follow the prompts to export.
  4. Select either Sheets or CSV.
Note: The time needed to complete the export will vary, depending on the size of the data. The Hire Admin who initiates the export will receive an email notifying them when it is complete.

Export feedback data

This export is for all the feedback and interview data collected in Hire.

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Reporting and then Export data.
  3. To the right of "Feedback data," select Export sheet. If you haven’t connected to Google Drive, follow the prompts to export.
  4. Select either Sheets or CSV. 
Note: The time needed to complete the export will vary, depending on the size of the data. The Hire Admin who initiates the export will receive an email notifying them when it is complete.

Export application stage change data

Use this export to analyze how long candidates spent in custom stages.

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Reporting and then Export data.
  3. To the right of "Application stage change data," select Export sheet. If you haven’t connected to Google Drive, follow the prompts to export.
  4. Select either Sheets or CSV. 
Note: The time needed to complete the export will vary, depending on the size of the data. The Hire Admin who initiates the export will receive an email notifying them when it is complete.

Export referral data

Use this report to analyze which candidates were referred, who they were referred by, which employees are referring hired candidates, and more.

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Reporting and then Export data.
  3. To the right of "Referral data," select Export. If you haven’t connected to Google Drive, follow the prompts to export.
  4.  Select either Sheets or CSV.
Note: The time needed to complete the export will vary, depending on the size of the data. The Hire Admin who initiates the export will receive an email notifying them when it is complete.

Use Explore on a Sheets export 

The Explore tool in Sheets provides suggestions for charts and formatting of your data. You can also ask questions about your data. Explore Explore can be found in the bottom right corner of any Sheets spreadsheet, select the icon to open the tool. Learn more about Explore

  • “How many total candidates do we have for each department?”

  • “What's the distribution of Job Title by Source Details when Source is Applied?"
