Job board postings with eQuest

Hire has partnered with eQuest, a job distribution vendor, to make it easy for customers to manage postings to a variety of job boards. This feature is most useful for Hire customers who have a high volume of jobs so that they can manage posts to multiple job boards.

eQuest is a paid service that is separate from, and in addition to, any costs incurred to use Hire. All billing associated with the use of eQuest is managed through a company's individual eQuest account. Hire customers must first set up an account with eQuest before they can proceed with enabling the integration within the Hire app.

Hire's eQuest integration

1. Admins

Admins must enable the eQuest integration for their organization before Recruiters can start posting to sponsored job boards.

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Admin and then Job boards.
  3. Turn on Post jobs with eQuest.

If you plan to use eQuest to send jobs to Indeed or Glassdoor, turn off those direct job board feeds in Hire

Req IDs will be required for all jobs distributed via eQuest, so consider enabling the Autofill Req ID option.

2. Recruiters

Connect to eQuest

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. Select Menu Menu and then Settings and then Job boards.
  3. Turn on Post jobs with eQuest.
  4. In the new window that pops up, enter your eQuest credentials.

Post jobs

  1. Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Jobs.
  3. Select the job’s title.
    If the job's location is marked incorrect Warning, choose a verified location from the drop-down menu to ensure it won't be rejected by a job board.
  4. At the top, select Publishing.
  5. Under “Search engines and integrated boards,” select Add Board.
  6. Select the boards to post the job to.
  7. In the top right, select Add.

Depending on the job board, you may be prompted to enter additional information as a final step. After entering the information, you’ll be returned to the job page in Hire. 

Remove a job posting

Note: Unpublishing a job will not remove its job board posting. The only way to delete the posting from a job board is to manually remove it via the Publishing tab.
  1.  Sign in to Hire.
  2. On the left, select Jobs.
  3. Select the job’s title.
  4. At the top, select Publishing.
  5. To the right of the board you'd like to remove a job posting from, select MoreMoreand then Remove a job posting.
