Hire, reject, or delete a candidate

This article is for Admins and members of a Hiring team.

Hire a candidate

  1. Sign in to the Hire app.
  2. Tap Candidates at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Tap a candidate's name.
  4. On the candidate's profile page, under the candidate's name and job title, select the green button with the down arrow Down Arrow and then Hire.
  5. (Optional) Enter the candidate's start date.

Reopen a hired candidate's application

If a hired candidate does not have a start date or their start date hasn't passed yet, hiring team members and Hire admins can reopen their application.

  1. Sign in to the Hire app.
  2. Tap Candidates at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Search Search for the hired candidate or tap Yours.
    1. If you've tapped Yours, tap the down arrow Down Arrow and then Hired.
  4. Select the candidate's name.
  5. Under the candidate's name and job title, tap the blue Hired Down Arrow button.
  6. Tap Reopen.
  7. Select a stage.
  8. (Optional) Add a comment for the other hiring team members to read.
  9. Tap Reopen.

Reject a candidate

  1. Sign in to the Hire app.
  2. Tap Candidates at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select a candidate's name or Search Search for it.
  4. On the candidate's profile page, under the candidate's name and job title, select the green button with the down arrow Down Arrow and then Reject.
  5. Select a rejection reason.
  6. (Optional) Add a comment for other hiring team members to read.
  7. (Optional) Choose an email template and email delivery time to send to the candidate.
  8. Tap Reject.
