The Hire data migration team can do a one-time data import of your legacy Applicant Tracking System (ATS) data into Hire. Migration of data is typically complete within 30 days of Google receiving it. However, depending on the ATS, your data may take longer to migrate.
You’ll need to request a data export from your current ATS and transfer that data to our team. We cannot begin the migration until we’ve received your data, so it’s important that you make this request as soon as possible. Hire’s data migration team is unable to import legacy data into Hire if the data originated outside of an ATS.

- Embed the iFrame snippet into your career webpage. This automatically renders any job published in Hire. We recommend this option for most customers.
- Another option is to embed the published job URL into each of your open position links on your site. This option would enable your careers page to follow your current page layout. Any future positions would require your jobs in Hire to be embedded into your careers page.
How can I ensure that my imported candidates will not clutter up my active candidates?
We can import some or all of your imported candidates as rejected. We recommend this approach if you have a large number of candidates.

What are some things to be aware of while my legacy data is being imported?
- Candidates not associated with a job will be added to a general application. These candidates are associated with a position called “no job specified." Once in the candidate's area, select All and select the No job specified filter.
- Candidates imported from a legacy ATS require a first and last name for creation in Hire. If no last or first name exists, we will be unable to import these candidates.
