Public job postings: your company careers site
Post Hire job listings to your company careers site
To post jobs to your company's website, you must embed a code snippet to your company’s career page. This code snippet embeds a customizable listing page for all of your published jobs.
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Menu
Admin
Careers site.
- Find the code snippet at the bottom of the page under "Publish job listing."
- Copy and paste the code into the HTML of your company's careers page .
- The code snippet should appear in your HTML like this:
Note: Jobs you publish and unpublish will automatically be added or removed from this list of jobs, without anybody on your team needing to make changes to your website's code each time.
Customize your job list
Select the type of job list
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Menu
Admin
Careers site.
- Select one of these options:
- Select Searchable—Recommended if there are more than 25 jobs listed on your site.
- Select Basic—Recommended if there are fewer than 25 jobs listed on your site.
- Preview your changes.
- Select Save.
Customize colors
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Menu
Admin
Careers site.
- Under "Customize colors," select a color or enter the hexadecimal color value.
- Preview your changes.
- Select Save.
Add an image
As an Admin, you can upload a logo that will appear on your career site. You also have the option to upload an image for sharing on social media. Separate images are required to meet specifications for each format.
Add a company logo
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Menu

- Select Admin
Careers site.
- Under "Company logo," select Upload file.
- Choose a file from your hard drive.
- Select Save.
Note:
- Minimum size is 80x80 pixels.
- Required format is either JPG or PNG.
- Higher resolutions images are recommended.
- Logos should be edge-to-edge so that all whitespace is omitted.
- Use transparent backgrounds.
Add an image for social media
You can upload an image that will appear on social media when you share a job listing via a trackable link.
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Menu

- Select Admin
Careers site.
- Under "Social media image," select Upload file.
- Choose a file from your hard drive.
- Select Save.
Note:
- Use an image with a 16:9 ratio. Preferred size is 1600x900 pixels.
- Accepted file formats are JPG or PNG.
- Omit borders and outlines from your image.
- If there is text on the image, leave space of 65 pixels from both the top and bottom and 130 pixels on the sides to ensure correct formatting on social media.
Optional customizations
Link to Hire jobs from your current careers site
If you would like to maintain your current career site's aesthetic, you can choose to embed a URL into action buttons on your site.
Use the full jobs list:
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Jobs
View published jobs.
- Copy and paste this URL into any HTML button located on your company website. This is typically a "View open positions" or "Apply now" button.
Use individual published jobs:
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Jobs.
- Select a published job you would like to post to your careers site.
- Select Publishing.
- Under "Trackable posts," select your company's career page link (i.e. "Your company career page") to view a preview of the job posting.
- Copy and paste the URL of this job posting into each HTML button or link you use for individual job openings.
Use the Hire JSON job feed to customize your listings
Hire allows you to customize the layout, filtering, and sorting of your company’s job listings so you can control the way jobs display on your careers page. This requires that your company have the technical resources and knowledge needed to create and deploy web pages that transform the raw data into user-friendly HTML.
Some examples of how you can use this to customize your job list:
- Apply the same CSS styles to the jobs list that are used for the rest of the careers site
- Remove unnecessary content, such as Location, or add additional content, such as Department
- Instead of grouping job listings by Department, group them by Location (or don't group them at all)
