Candidate collections
This article is for Admins, Job Creators, and members of a Hiring team.
Users can organize candidates into collections. Think of collections like personalized lists you can use to keep yourself organized. You might want to have a collection for candidates you want to circle back with in 6 months, or a collection of candidates that would be a good fit for a particular role.
You can also share collections with your team. Sharing a collection is an easy way to let people on your team know you’d like them to take a look at candidates for a job, or to get feedback on a group of candidates.
Find a candidate profile in your collection
- Sign in to Hire.
- Click Collections.
All the candidates in your Starred collection will appear in the list.
- (Optional) To filter the collection list, on the left, click Starred or the name of the collection you want to see.
- On the toolbar, above the list, sort and filter the list of candidates you see in the table.
- Click Job and select one or more jobs.
- Enter Keywords to search more attributes without clearing the other filters.
- Click Add
and select a Filter to add additional filters.
- At the far right, click Sort by to sort the list alphabetically (First name, Employer, Job application) or by Stage.
Add a candidate profile to your collection
There are multiple ways you can easily add candidates to your collection.
- Click Candidates.
- Find the candidates you want to add.
- From the list of candidates, next to the candidate's name, check the box. Select multiple boxes to bulk add candidates.
- Click Actions
Add to collection.
- On the Add to collection dialog, click Collection and select a collection, or enter a name for a new collection.
- Click Add.
- Click Actions
You can also add candidates to a collection directly from the collections page.
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Collections from the left navigation menu.
- Click on an existing collection or select + Create Collection.
- If you are creating a collection, follow the dialogue box to create a Collection name and short description (optional).
- At the top of the page, select
Add existing candidates.
- Follow the dialogue box to begin typing a candidate's name and select the candidate you want to add.
- Select Add.
Candidate Discover is a great way to find prospective candidates and bundle them into collections to easily resurface them when you need to.
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Discover from the left navigation menu.
- From the list of candidates, check the boxes next to the desired candidates' names.
- Click Actions
Add to collection.
- On the Add to collection dialog, click the drop-down menu
and select a collection or enter a name for a new collection.
- Click Add.
Share your collection with other people
- Sign in to Hire.
- Click Collections.
- Click the name of the collection you want to share.
- Click
.
- On the Share collection dialog, enter names of Reviewers.
- Click Share.
Remove a candidate's profile from your collection
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Collections from the left navigation menu.
- Select the name of the collection to remove the candidate(s) from.
- Check the box next to the candidate's name. Select multiple boxes to bulk remove candidates.
- At the top, select Actions
Remove from collection.
Move candidates to a collection
- Sign in to Hire.
- Select Collections from the left navigation menu.
- Select the name of the collection to move the candidate(s) to.
- Check the box next to the candidate's name. Select multiple boxes to bulk move candidates.
- At the top, select Actions
Move to another collection.
Add a candidate profile to your Starred collection
- Click Candidates.
- Find the candidate you want to add to your Starred collection.
- Next to the candidate's name to add, click Star
.
Click Star again to remove the candidate.
