Do I need to disclose my supplier for each ingredient?

Disclosing your supplier is not required. In fact, there isn’t a text field for supplier information if you're entering the ingredients directly into intentional content.

If you need additional information from your supplier or the component manufacturer, you have the option to send an information request to your supply chain. You can to ask the component manufacturer to fill in a complete HPD for the component you use.  Their HPD then gets rolled up into your final product HPD.

Adding supplier information makes it possible for Google and Google's design and construction teams to see comprehensive product data including the component manufacturer’s information.  Other manufacturers cannot see your product, and hence cannot see the manufacturer of your component.  They will be able to see the component and manufacturer if they are entering an HPD of their own and try to enter it in as an ingredient.  They will not however, see that it has been used by you, only that it is in the system.

If the source of your component is sensitive, it's probably best to get the information directly from your supply chain and enter it directly in as intentional content, instead of sending a request to them to create an HPD for the component.
