Contribute to a study

To contribute to the study:

1. Open the Google Health Studies app.
2. At the bottom, tap Contribute. 
3. If there are tasks to complete, such as answering survey questions, you will see them here. 
   1. If you are all up-to-date with your tasks, you will see a message such as “All surveys complete”.
   2. When an additional task becomes available, you will receive a notification if you have reminder notifications turned on.
   3. If you decide not to turn your notifications on, you will need to check the app periodically to make sure that you are not missing any surveys as they appear within a certain timeframe and will disappear automatically if you miss the timeframe.

If you are not enrolled in any study the Contribute tab will display “No tasks yet. Choose a Study first”

Tips:

Some studies may need additional permissions:

• Follow the on-screen instructions whenever it is displayed.
• If you are using android 9 or older versions, you may need to follow these alternative steps to add phone usage:

1. Open phone Settings
2. Tap Apps.
3. Tap Special app access.
4. Tap Usage access.
5. Scroll down to tap Health Studies.
6. Toggle on “Permit usage access.”
