About Google Health Studies

Google Health Studies is an Android app that allows you to participate in health studies with leading research institutions. Through the app, you can find research studies to participate that align with health topics you care about. Studies may rely on self-reported information and regular surveys, along with phone sensor data that you have consented to sharing.

Google Health Studies aims to create opportunities for more people to participate in health research studies. By contributing, you’ll represent your community and help with improving the future of health for everyone.

Google Health Studies will only collect Study Data with your consent. Study Data is generally defined as information collected for a specific research study and depending on the study, this may include demographic and household information, medical history, self-reported symptoms and surveys, test results, location data, mobility data, or other sensor data from your phone (collectively, “Study Data”). To see a list of all data you’ll be contributing to a particular study, review the informed consent form for the study.

Study Data will only be used for purposes that you have consented to and you remain in control of what studies you choose to participate in.
