My Voice keeps going robotic when using hangouts! 0 Recommended Answers 2 Replies 134 Upvotes

Can anyone help me with this?

When I go into Google Meets on my Mac using bluetooth headphones it gives this robotic, glitching noise. It has done it with several different people.

I've tried this with 2 different headphones - AirPods and Jabra Elite. Both set work fine with MS Teams, FaceTime and Music both from my phone and Desktop.

I've tried Chrome and Safari. I've also used the hangouts app in seperate window.

I have to use hangouts for work as we are google user company but it is driving me mad!

Has anyone else had this problem?

This is a constant problem for me. Hangouts maxes out CPU usage even on a new macbook air. Voice goes robotic.
