Hangouts Bubble Icons

Hey all!
Overnight, the Bubble Icons disappeared on all PCs.
Has there been a Update?
The listed fixes didn't work for me. We have installed the Version 2017.420.419.1
I also deinstalled the software and reinstalled the desktop verison, but i can't find the UI option.
Kind regards!

Hi Lukas: the Transparent UI option has been removed from the Chrome Hangouts App.

You can send feedback to Hangouts using the Feedback link at the bottom of the Hangouts Setitngs.

And why?

These decisions I will never understand.

It is super uncomfortable to use the other interface.

Hangouts hasn't provided a reason why they made the change.

I thought it was just me! This is certainly annoying. The old UI was so out of the way and easy to use. The new UI is so old fashioned and clunky, and I have to have this huge window covering up my screen!

Again this is a stupid idea possibly instead of fixing a problem they just removed it completely. Thank you Google... lost another user.

Give us back our transparent Hangouts web application! Does Google want to kill another app?

Yup mine just updated aswell and the bubble ui is gone, uninstalling this garbage. Why is it that when google makes a new update it always turns things worse?

One more for bring it back, use this app at work a lot and have a large window open just isnt an option... The Transparent UI was clean and functional, the removal of it makes 0 sense...
