Can you video chat with 2 seperate devices at the same time with same person

I was using Hangouts on my HTC M8 and I also have a tablet that is Android, out of couriosity, can I chat with my cell phone and have a second going on the tablet under the same account?  And if so, would that show that I am using multilple devices on the video screen?  Or does the faces on the video screen just show me and whoever I'm chatting with at that time?

Hi Jackie,

Yes, you can join the Google Hangouts video call from two different devices while being signed into the same Google account. Your photo will appear twice at the bottom of the window. We recommend you to use headphones with a built-in mic during the video call, otherwise, you might experience the echo issues.

Cheers,
Kaan

ok, thanks.  So the boxes at the bottom of the window are who is involved in the chat, is that right?  that doesn't mean i'm connected to another device does it?  Like it will have a photo of the person I am chatting with and the second window, slightly smaller says "you", what does that mean?  Does that mean I'm in the chat or does that mean one of my other devices are connected?  Im confused.

Yes, at the bottom of the Google Hangouts video call window you'll see all current participants. If you have multiple devices connected to it, everybody will see your photo/video twice from each of them.
