- If you do not currently have the classic Hangouts app on Android or iOS, you will no longer be able to download the app.
- To continue your conversations from classic Hangouts, get started with Google Chat or learn about the switch from classic Hangouts to Google Chat.

- Classic Hangouts is not available in China.

Your Family Link account can use Hangouts on Android but not on iPhones/iPads.
Sign in to classic Hangouts
Important: You can no longer download the classic Hangouts app. If you delete or uninstall the classic Hangouts app on your iOS device, you will not be able to reinstall. Move to the Google Chat app or the Gmail app to continue your conversations.
Tip: Hangouts is supported for Apple's mobile operating system version 11.0 and up.
