Get started with classic Hangouts

Important:

• Some users may have already been moved to Google Chat and may no longer be able to use classic Hangouts on some platforms.
• If you do not currently have the classic Hangouts app on Android or iOS, you will no longer be able to download the app.
• To continue your conversations from classic Hangouts, get started with Google Chat or learn about the switch from classic Hangouts to Google Chat.

Notes:

• Classic Hangouts is not available in China.

• Your Family Link account can use Hangouts on Android but not on iPhones/iPads.
