Summary: When trying to submit a feed the connection fails because the port is not open. A "connection refused" error is observed.
Cause: This can happen for two reasons:
- The port 19900 is disabled when Enable HTTP (non-SSL) access for Feedergate option is not enabled under Administration > SSL Settings > Feedergate HTTP (non-SSL) access in Admin Console.
- The GSA is using a signed SSL certificate, but the appropriate CA certificate is not installed. Follow these instructions to resolve this.
Fix: Enable Enable HTTP (non-SSL) access for Feedergate under Administration > SSL Settings > Feedergate HTTP (non-SSL) access.
Additional Note: Similar behavior can also be observed if there is a firewall in-between that is blocking the connection. Please check your network configuration if that's the case.
