What are the expected annual costs for the Google Search Appliance?

The Google Search Appliance is an integrated, all-in-one hardware, software, and support solution that can be licensed for either two or three years. The pricing model of the search appliance is based on the number of documents searched, starting with a license count of 500,000 documents.

As a bundled solution, the Google Search Appliance offers an extremely low total cost of ownership. You do not need to pay for additional hardware, software, databases, maintenance, upgrade fees, or support.

As an option, you might want to contract with one of Google's enterprise partners to provide additional development or to get help with deployment or add-on services.
