Mark topics as duplicates or no action needed

People who have the Content moderator permission can mark topics as duplicates.

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Click My Groups.
  3. Choose a group.
  4. Select topics by checking the box beside them.
  5. At the top, click Actions.
  6. Select Set as duplicate.
  7. Type the name of the topic that is duplicated.
  8. Click OK. "Is a duplicate" appears in the topic information.
  9. To remove the duplicate setting, select the topic marked as a duplicate, then click Actions > Unset duplicate.

Mark topics as no action needed (or change action setting for a topic)

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Click My Groups.
  3. Choose a group.
  4. Select topics by checking the box beside them.
  5. At the top, click Actions.
  6. Select Mark no action needed. "No action needed" appears in the topic information.
  7. If a topic requires action in the future, select it, then select "Unmark no action needed".
