Using new Groups

You can report hateful or violent content, shared personal info, or the promotion of regulated goods and services at the group, conversation, or message level.

Report a group

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Search or browse for the group.
  3. At the top, click More ""and thenReport abusive group.

Report a conversation

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Search or browse for the conversation.
  3. In the upper right, click Report abuse "".

Report a message

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Search or browse for the message.
  3. Point to the message, and on the right, click More ""and thenReport message as abuse.
Using classic Groups

You can report hateful or violent content, shared personal info, or the promotion of regulated goods and services at the topic or message level.

Report a topic 

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Click My groups.
  3. Click the name of a group.
  4. Click the topic you want to report.
  5. At the top, next to X post(s) by X author(s), click the Down arrow Down arrow.
  6. Select Delete first post for abuse.

Report a message

  1. Sign in to Google Groups.
  2. Click My groups.
  3. Click the name of a group.
  4. Go to the message you want to report.
  5. Next to the date, click the Down arrow Down arrow.
  6. Select Report abuse.

Report image of a minor

If you are the minor in the image, or if you are the parent or guardian of the minor, you can request to restrict sharing of that image.
