I can't post messages to my group
If you're unable to post any messages to your group, please try the following troubleshooting tips:
- Clear your browser's cache and cookies.
- If you're posting via email, visit the group's About page and confirm that you're sending your posts to the correct address.
- If you belong to a group with restricted membership, sign in to your account and visit the group's homepage. If you're not recognized as a member, you might belong to the group with a different email address.
- If you're a manager/owner of the group, make sure your ability to post hasn't been overriden by another owner. You can do so by clicking Manage on your group homepage. From there, click Members and find yourself in the list of members. Under Posting you should see "Allowed." If you see "Not allowed — override," you can change your posting permissions by checking the box next to your name, clicking the Actions menu, and then changing the posting permissions.
The groups abuse prevention system limits how much you can post. If you're over the limit, you'll see an error message. When this happens, just wait a few hours and you should be able to post again.
