I was never prompted for billing info on Ad Grants account, but it is there from previous account. 0 Recommended Answers 2 Replies 1 Upvote

We are waiting to be approved again for Ad Grants. We have an old account with billing info associated with it. I set up a new account, but was never prompted for billing info. The new account has billing info included... from the old account. I did not add the billing info! Different customer numbers, same gmail email address. So confusing. Awaiting approval for Ad Grants, but have a feeling will get denied because of this. Help?

There's no harm in waiting to see if you're accepted or rejected, but I'd agree that a rejection is likely.  Google is very nit-picky during the application, especially around billing.

Your best bet, and what I typically do with our clients, is create an entirely new gmail account, and build the Ad account from there. Then once accepted, transfer admin permissions to the client and myself.

You can do it fairly easily by signing out from all gmail accounts and going through the Activation Guide. But when it prompts you to sign into a Google account, click the small "Create Account" link towards the bottom instead.
