Hi Ammar,

Great post - cheers for sharing.

Interesting points on the philosophical questions about how to prioritise which nonprofits should receive the grants in order to maximise their impact. There's no easy answer but think you're on the right track by focusing on the user experience and offering a level playing field.

That said, as more nonprofits join the program it might be worth considering partnering with a charity auditing body or similar to improve transparency into the finances and operations of the nonprofits themselves to ensure that they are using the money raised from the Ad Grants program effectively.

Appreciate that is no easy task but think it might help maximise the program's impact.

As a student applying for the Online Marketing Challenge, I looked at Google Ad Grants merely as an organization that's providing me a platform to learn a new skill - that is, how to run an effective Google Ads campaign.

But this post changed that for me. It helped me connect deeper to the cause behind Google Ad Grants. Who knew digital marketing could help drive such a deep social impact and potentially change the world?

On top of that, Michelle's story is so moving in itself! A big thanks for sharing this post!
