Please make sure that you have no pending os and apps updates are on the list ?
Also clear data/cache of Google Play / Web View / Launcher / apps that you have issues with
Proceedure :-
2.Highlight the title that you want to remove and hold down the "OK" or "Select" button on your remote for a few seconds.
3.A menu will appear with two options. Select "Hide."
3.A menu will appear with two options. Select "Hide."
4.The title will now be gone from the "Continue Watching" row!
If you're unable to remove items from your "Continue Watching" list even after trying these steps, it's possible that there may be a technical issue with the platform itself.
Hope this helps

There's probably no way to clear the app's cache individually.
You need to clear the cache of all apps.
Instructions are provided in the help below.
Free up storage on Chromecast with Google TV

The original poster probably imagines that the app's cache = clearing the continuous viewing list, but I think there is a high possibility that it is not linked.
My guess is that even if the cache is cleared, the continuous viewing list will remain the same.
For example, if you're using a Chromecast with Google TV, you can press and hold to cancel the watching state as per the first advice, but perhaps the original poster discussed clearing the Continued Watch list within a particular app. I think you are.

There might be some confusions, but some users from reddit suggest this method and its working for some people :-)

Not sure what method you are referring to but I did try something new.
Deleted all the apps (Except YouTube, which you cant delete).
all the videos disappeared from the CW list.
Restarted the TV, Reinstalled all the apps.
all the videos reappeared in the CW list.

thanks for the reply
I see, there is information related to reddit and reports of improvements.
Hi, VijayRChandran
Unfortunately, the list is not recorded in the app's cache and seems to be tied to the app and account, so I think if you reinstall it and open the app with the same account, it will be back to its original state.
In this case, the only way to improve the issue is to contact the app developer about the problem.

Please tell me the name of the app that is causing the problem.
I'll try to see if the same problem reproduces with what I have subscribed to/installed.

YouTube, Jio Cinema, Disney+ Hotstar
The only app that is showing hide option is Netflix

In my environment, I can try Youtube/Netflix, so I will try to see if there is a way to delete the viewing list on Youtube.
