No Live TV in the UK

Why is Google not offering a Live TV tab for the Chromecast/Google TV in the UK? It is very deceiving how this was not made clear. Yes, we can still access channels through each TV app such as BBC iPlayer and My5 but a Live TV tab, bringing all the channels together would be so much easier, better and more streamlined. It is hardly mentioned that Live TV is only available in the US. What will Google be doing to help those in the UK?

The live TV feature is currently only available in the US and Germany, which is clearly stated in the help centre I'm afraid.
 
 
I too would like to see this expanded to more countries! I’d encourage you to also send this feedback directly to Google. You will not receive a response, unless Google need more details from you, however the team are still reading the feedback.

The live TV feature is currently only available in the US and Germany, which is clearly stated in the help centre I'm afraid.

Clearly stated in the help centre, but not in any of the advertising, which I think what the "deceiving" element is. The equivalent of a small print. Google should be more up front about it and maybe even give some indication of a timeline or product roadmap. Forever in the dark about this sort of thing

I get where you're coming from but there's endless features and settings you could say that about. Not all features and settings are available in all countries or regions, and that's the same for so many different devices these days, not just Google ones. Simply not feasible to include all that detail in advertising.
