Buy or rent movies & micro dramas with Google TV

Important:

• To access micro dramas, you must be 18 or older.
• Micro dramas can only be rented and accessed on Android devices.
• In your app settings, under “parental controls,” you can manage access to micro dramas. Learn how to use parental controls on Google TV.

When you rent a micro drama through the Google TV app, it’s added to your account’s library. You can watch micro dramas in your library across your Android devices. You can also share eligible titles with up to 5 family members through your Family Library.

Rent or buy a movie

On a Google TV device

1. Search for the title you want to rent or buy.
2. Open the title’s details page.
3. At the bottom, you’ll find the number of “ways to watch.” 
4. Choose if you want to rent or buy the content.

In the Google TV app

1. Search or browse for the title you want to rent or buy.
2. Open the title’s details page.
3. Tap the Down arrow   Google TV .
4. Tap Rent or Buy.

Tip: When you rent or buy a video with Google TV, it's added to the library of the account used to make the purchase. Learn where else you can watch your content.

Watch previously purchased content

In the Google TV app

1. Open the Google TV app .
2. Tap Your stuff Library.

Most rental periods last for 30 days from your purchase date. You can watch the movie as many times as you want before your rental expires.

Rent micro dramas with Google TV

You can only watch the micro drama rented content with the Google TV Android app.

Rent a micro drama

You can rent a micro drama on your Android device.

In the Google TV app:

1. Search for the title you want to rent.
2. You can watch the first few episodes at no charge.
3. After you complete the episodes available at no charge for any title, you can unlock the set of episodes or the complete series.

Watch previously purchased content

In the Google TV app:

1. Open the Google TV app .
2. Tap Your stuff Micro dramas.

Tip: Rental periods for micro dramas last for 30 days from your purchase date. You can rewatch the micro drama until your rental expires.
