Where you can watch your movies and shows

When you buy or rent movies and shows from Google Play Movies & TV or Google TV, you can watch the content across many devices.

Where to watch

Important: On each platform, make sure that you sign in to the same account that you used to make your purchase. You can find all your content in your Library.

Watch on a phone or tablet

Google TV mobile app

You can watch movies and shows in the Google TV app on Android and iOS devices.

1. On your phone, open Google TV .
2. Tap Your stuff Library.

YouTube app

1. On your phone, open YouTube .
2. At the bottom, tap Library.
3. Tap Your movies and shows.

Tip: Ads don't play when you watch content that you purchased.

Watch in a web browser

Google Play website

1. In a browser, go to Google Play Movies & TV.
2. Select Movies & TV.

YouTube.com

1. In a browser, sign in to https://youtube.com.
2. At the top left, select Menu   Your movies.
3. Select Purchased.

Tip: Ads don't play when you watch content that you purchased.

Watch on a streaming device or smart TV

Google TV devices

1. On your Google TV device, make sure that you're signed in to the right account.
2. Go to the Library tab.
3. Select the movie or TV show that you want to watch.

Android TV devices

1. From the Android TV home screen, scroll to the 'Apps' row.
2. Select the Google Play Movies & TV app .
3. Select My library  Movies or TV shows.

YouTube app on smart TVs and Roku

1. On your smart TV, open YouTube .
2. Make sure that you're signed in to the right account.
3. Go to the Library tab.
4. Select Your movies and shows.

Movies Anywhere app on smart TVs

Important: Movies Anywhere is only available for eligible titles in the US. For more help, go to Movies Anywhere support.

1. On your smart TV, open the Movies Anywhere app.
2. Make sure that you’re signed in to the right account.
3. Go to My movies.
4. Select the movie or TV show that you want to watch.

Chromecast devices

You can get movies and shows from Google directly on your TV when your Chromecast has Google TV. Learn how to buy or rent content on Google TV.

For other Chromecast devices, you can stream video to your TV.
