Collection point availability
To choose collection point delivery at checkout, all items in an order must be eligible for delivery to a collection point. The availability of collection point delivery may also vary based on:
- Your delivery address
- Seller eligibility
- Item eligibility
Place an order for delivery to a collection point
Important: If you need to cancel your order after checkout, you’ll have a 30-minute window after your order is confirmed to cancel it. After 30 minutes, you won’t be able to cancel the order.
- Open Google Shopping.
- Add an eligible item to your basket.
- Proceed to checkout.
- For the delivery address, select Collection point.
- Important: If someone else will collect your order for you after it’s delivered, enter their name in the “Person collecting” section. Learn more about asking someone else to collect your order.
- Next to “Person collecting,” select More
.
- Enter the name and phone number of the person who will collect the parcel.
- Important: The name you enter must match the name on the ID of the person collecting.
- Search for a nearby collection point with your ZIP code or home or work address.
- Choose a collection point from the list.
- Tip: If you don’t have a specific location in mind or can’t find yours from the list, expand your search. Availability of locations may vary depending on the logistics provider and location.
- Choose a payment option.
- Select Place order & pay.
After you complete your purchase, you’ll receive an order confirmation email with an approximate time your order will be ready for pick-up at the collection point. You'll also receive an email that confirms when your order's ready for pickup.
Track your order
Important: After your order is delivered to a collection point, you have a limited time to pick it up. This pick-up window varies from 3 days to up to 15 days, and we'll send you an email to let you know how long you have to pick up your order. After this window passes, the package is sent back to the merchant and you’ll receive a refund.
To track your order’s progress and find out when it’s delivered:
- Open Google Shopping.
- At the top left, select Menu
Orders.
- Find the order you want to track.
- To the right of the order, select View order details.
The “Order details” page collects your order’s shipping and delivery details, including if a pickup location requires a PIN code.
Tip: If you need a PIN code for collection, you can also find it in your order’s tracking info and in SMS notifications sent to you.
Ask someone else to collect a parcel for you
To arrange for someone else besides you to collect your order:
- Open Google Shopping.
- Place an order for pickup.
- At the “Checkout” page, find the “Collection point” section.
- Next to “Person collecting,” select More
.
- Choose which person will collect the order, or add a new person:
- Select Add new person.
- Enter the person’s name and phone number.
- Important: Make sure the name you enter matches the name on the person’s ID.
- Select Save.
- Finish checkout.
If someone besides the person you listed in the “Person collecting” section picks up the order, they’ll need:
- A valid form of the account holder’s ID
- A letter of authorization that allows them to collect the parcel
Important: Once someone else has been chosen to collect the order, the buyer will not be able to collect the parcel anymore.
