With Google Play Music free radio, you can discover new music with custom radio stations. Use the steps below to browse radio stations, or use the search bar to find stations related to your favorite artist, album, song, or activity.
Note: Free radio stations are currently available only in the U.S., Canada, and India.
Listen to curated stations
HomeWhen you're on Home, you can find stations based on your current mood, activity, or time of day.
- Open the Google Play Music web player or the Google Play Music app

- Select Menu
Home.
- Browse through the available categories and select a station.
When you're on Browse Stations, you can find a list of all curated radio stations.
- Open the Google Play Music web player or the Google Play Music app
.
- Select Menu
Browse Stations.
- Choose a category like genre, activity, mood, or decade.
Listen to radio from Top charts or New releases
- Open the Google Play Music web player or the Google Play Music app
.
- Select Menu
Top charts or New releases.
- Hover over a station or song you like and select More
Start Radio.
Add a station to your library
- Open the Google Play Music web player or the Google Play Music app
.
- Select Menu
Browse stations.
- Hover over a station or song you like and select More
Add station to library or Add to library.
Use the menu for each radio station
- Open the Google Play Music web player or the Google Play Music app
.
- Hover over the station or song you want and select More
- Within each menu, review the options available for that station.
Menu options may include:
- Add to Music library: Adds the station to Music library in the main menu.
- Not interested or Delete: These options remove the station from your account.
- Rename: You can edit the title of the station.
