If you're having trouble playing your Google Play Music on Android TV, here are some things you can try.
Make sure your Android TV system software is up to date:
- Go to your device's main Settings menu.
- Select About > System update.
- If an update is available, follow the on-screen instructions to update the system.
- Retry your music.
Sync your account:
- Go to your device's main Settings menu.
- Under "Personal," select your account.
- Select Choose synced apps > Sync now.
- Retry your music.
Make sure your Google Play Music account is registered on your Android TV:
- Go to your device's main Settings menu.
- Under "Personal," review which account is registered on the device.
- To switch accounts, select Remove account and follow the on-screen instructions to add another account. For more information, go to the Android TV Help Center.
Clear app data and cache:
- Go to your device's main Settings menu.
- Select Apps.
- Under "System apps," select Google Play Music > Clear data and then Clear cache.
- Retry your music.
