Flixster is closing on the 31st of October, and have stated that they will move your collection over to Google Play. Yet there is no where I can find to link the two accounts together, though that might happen at a later date.

Thanks for that will you keep us all updated I'm sure many people have this issue I contacted Myuv.com who never responded as if say about 90% of my movies havent ported to Google and zero percent of my TV shows have 😭😭😭 have you successfully managed to contact anyone at Google? I haven't

Thanks for the post though it put my mind a little bit at ease knowing Flixter are allegedly doing something to make it go smooth lol

18th July... less than 2 weeks before they close UV down and no further information. Anyone know what is going on?

Has there been any updates with regards to the flixster to google play migration as of yet?
Getting closer to the end of July now, starting to get worried about losing all my flixster/ultraviolet content.

Email I received today:

To Flixster Video users:

As you are aware, UltraViolet will cease operations and shut down its service on July 31, 2019.

The shutdown of UltraViolet will not impact the titles in your Flixster Video collection or your ability to view those titles, as we have worked to retain each user’s video collection information on Flixster Video. You can also continue to redeem valid digital codes for movies and television shows on Flixster Video after the shutdown, but these redemptions will no longer be added to your UltraViolet account and will only appear in your Flixster Video collection.

We informed you in an e-mail last month that Flixster Video is planning to shut down its website, applications and operations later this year, and that we have made arrangements with Google Play to enable you to migrate available videos in your Flixster Video collection to Google Play. While we had expected the Flixster Video – Google Play migration process to be available in July, this migration process is not yet ready and available for Flixster Video users. We expect to launch this service soon and appreciate your patience.

We will provide you further notice and information once this migration process is ready and available for Flixster Video users.

Thank you,

The Flixster Video Team

So who knows when it will happen but it doesn't look like it will anytime soon...

Ive been looking at an answer for this and stumbled across this thread.

From what I know, Flixster stops in the UK on 31st October so I guess they have until then to migrate over to Google.

However, I signed up for a Movies Anywhere account and linked all the accounts I could (it doesn't have Flixster unfortunately) but some of my movies were there. Upon further investigation these were some but not all of my Google play movies and it seems some of my Flixster movies have moved over to Google - the same ones that I get in the Movies Anywhere account and I know I didnt redeem alot of these movies through Google, so its weird that they are there. So maybe its happening studio by studio?

The one thing I did do was make sure my ultraviolet account was linked to my google play gmail account.
Flixster was showing I had linked my hotmail. If you go to ultraviolet and change the email to a gmail address associated with google play it will update flixster accordingly.
You might need to do this before the 31st July when ultraviolet ceases and I’m sure it will help the migration process?!
