I tried to add a family member to our family group, but it says "Family groups aren't available for G Suite accounts." The help page https://support.google.com/youtubetv/answer/7251139?visit_id=637025567938219745-2168160935&p=family_plan&rd=1 states that the manager cannot be signed in with a G Suite account, but it does not list that limitation for family members. It is stupid that Google blocks its own customers from being added to a family group. If they had any email host other than Google, I could add them as a family member. This makes no sense.

This is super annoying.  Google why do you punish your most loyal users?  Many of us purchased gsuite accounts for our family members to use, and now we can't take advantage of any of the family sharing settings that free gmail users can.

I am a teacher and use YouTube practically daily in the classroom.  I purchased a YouTube Premium account so that I wouldn't have to slog through ads in the middle of a lesson. My personal account was blocked recently on my school device, so I purchased the family plan to add my school account. The fact that I can't accept an invite as a Gsuite user makes no sense in this situation. I'm ready to cancel my account over this because there is no point in me paying for something I can't use.

I'm in the same boat.  I got the Google Music family plan but cannot use it from my main account.  I have a 2nd free account and am using that for the Music app.  Depending on your needs you might be able to work around the problem by creating a free account, but Google sucks for making you do it that way.

The partial solution for me is to have both my G Suite account and my Gmail account, separately, and only make purchases/subscriptions with the latter. It's pretty annoying and I hope we can fix this some day!

Oh come on Google, I pay for G Suite, we pay for YouTube and I can't use my paid Google email, sack the people who thought this was a good idea, really!

Just been trying to setup a Family group and can't because I'm a G Suite user, what a pain!  Are Google going to respond to this problem?  I could create a new gmail account but I've bought over 40 movies on Play Movies with my G Suite account and I can't share these with my family

Iv also run into the same problem... Why on earth would google block paying customers from a feature free users can take advantage of? 

Iv even go as far as to try create a new @gmail.com account and add myself to it as a family member, but it wont even allow a G Suites user to join the family...
