Batch Information in the Partner Portal

You can find and review batch information in the Google Play Music Portal. To review batches, hover over and click on Batches in the left navigation panel in the partner portal.

The Batches page will provide the following:

  • Batch ID: the number assigned by your delivery system for the batch.
  • Batch Delivered: a timestamp indicating when the batch was received.
  • Status: an indication of the ingestion status of your batch. Note that this status does not indicate the ingestion status of individual products. In order to review the ingestion status of individual products, please review the product page. Below is an explanation of each Status:
    • Received: Google has successfully received the batch delivery.
    • Processing: Google is unpacking the products from the batch.
    • Ready: Google has successfully unpacked all the products from the batch and will soon begin processing each product.

Batches will list all products included in the batch. The Batch Detail page contains links to the XML file for each product in the batch.

Partners Delivered by Third-Party Distributors

Note that if Google Play Music receives your content via a third-party distributor, you will not have access to separate batch-level information in the portal. You can, however, review batch details by reviewing the product in the portal, where batch details can be found on the product page. Products distributed by you in a particular batch can be found by clicking the batch folder on the product page.
