Play Protect marks App Store as a threat

Last Friday I got a warning message from Play Protect suggesting me to remove Aptoide App Store from my device since it can download potentially harmful apps.
Does this make sense? Just for being an App Store, able to download files, mark it as a threat and suggest it's removal from the device?
This market has security checks being done automatically and manually for the apps that are available and has its code open for everyone to check it https://github.com/Aptoide.
Harmful apps are a concern to everyone but suggesting a removal and blocking an app based on the argument of "potentially" harmful apps can be downloaded doesn't seem fair to me.
It has been proven several times in the past that Google Play hosted harmful apps:

Hi Ruben,

Thanks for posting on the Google Play Help Forum.

I certainly understand what you're going through. Play protect identifies the harmful apps for your device and blocks those app not to affect your device. However, since this isn't working as intended, in order to get this information directly to Google Play Store developer team, I'd suggest you submit your feedback through the "Help & feedback" option available within the Google Play Store settings. Sending in-product feedback helps Google to automatically collect useful information that will allow our Engineers to evaluate each case-by-case issue. Although you will not receive a reply, they're using this feedback to fix and improve the overall product experience. To send feedback:

1. Open Google Play Store app.
2. Touch Menu.
3. Tap Help & feedback.
4. Tap Send feedback.
5. Write your feedback and submit it.

Let me know if you've any further queries.

I can't understand how vague these experts can be. he asks a direct question valid question and your response is to redirect his question else where leaving the open forum to privately send a support ticket/question?
If I could I would mark the expert's response as unhelpful!
The point to this form or any forms alike is for people searching for the same question to find a real answer
Were these replies helpful?
How can we improve them?
