samsung tv smart iptv help

I have used the playstore to download and install Smart Iptv on my Nvidia shield. I am trying to do the same, only this time on my Samsung Tv. The Play store shows my device as Nvidia shield even though its not even connected,from the little arrow drop down menu in devices next to were it shows the shield there is no other devices to choose from other than the shield. Doesn't even show the Samsung tv

Do I have to register my tv with Samsung apps account if not does anyone know why the plays store shows my device as a Nvidia shield only in the device menu.

Thanks for giving us detailed information about the issue you're facing. I understand your concern.

To help resolve the issue, please ensure the Samsung Smart TV is connected to the internet and then go to Home > Apps > What's New > Smart IPTV > Install.

Many thanks for your reply I was scratching my head for some time, I didn’t realize I hadnt registered an account or email in the

Samsung apps account section,same as you do for the Google playstore. Once I did it let me follow your instructions below.

Was able to then download and install Smart iptv from the Samsung apps section.
