Use audio & video with Google Play Books

You can listen to audio and watch videos in books that have that content. On mobile devices, use accessibility options to hear your book read aloud.

Play audio and video

When books have interactive content, you can play audio and video when you’re connected to the internet. To start playing the content, tap Play Play. If you turn the page, the audio or video will stop playing.

Note: To help prevent data charges, connect to Wi-Fi before you stream audio and video.

Turn on VoiceOver

  1. Go to your device's main Settings menu.
  2. Tap General and then Accessibility.
  3. Select VoiceOver.
  4. Tap On.

For more information about VoiceOver and iOS accessibility features, visit Apple's support site.
