Buy, rent, & watch movies & TV shows

To rent or purchase videos in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, you must be at least 18 years old due to regional regulations like the Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD).

1. Open Google Play Movies & TV .
2. Search for the movie or show you want to watch.
3. Tap the item.
   • Select Rent or Buy.
   • To save videos to buy or watch later, tap Watchlist .

Tip: You can share rented or purchased movies and shows with up to 5 family members. Learn more about Google Play Family Library.

1. Open Google Play Movies & TV .
2. At the top, tap Menu or your profile picture.
3. To switch to another account, tap the Dropdown Arrow .
   • If another account is listed: Tap it to use that account.
   • To add another account: Tap Add another account and follow the instructions.

You can find the videos you rented or purchased on your device.

1. Open Google Play Movies & TV .
2. Tap Library.
3. Select Movies or TV shows.
   • You can sort by title, date added, or year released.
4. To play a movie or TV show, select the item and tap Play .
