If you buy apps or content on Google Play, you can use it on any compatible Android device without the need to pay again. Each device must be signed in to the same Google Account.
To automatically keep your apps in sync across your devices, you can turn on App sync.
If you get a new device or if you have issues with App sync, you can reinstall any apps you’ve bought on another device.
Reinstall apps on your Android device from your phone or tablet
- On your Android device, open the Google Play app
.
- On the right, tap the Profile icon.
- Tap Manage apps & device
Manage.
- Select the apps you want to install or turn on.
- If you can't find the app, at the top, tap This device
Not installed.
- If you can't find the app, at the top, tap This device
- Tap Install or Enable.
Tips:
- To reinstall apps, you must use the same account on all devices.
- If you can’t find an app or are asked to buy it again, make sure you use the same Google account you bought it with.
- Some content may not be available on all devices.
- You can reinstall an app that you bought but deleted.
