Report inappropriate or problematic music

Music providers must adhere to the Google Music Content and Conduct Policy. If you see music that doesn't follow these standards, you can report it by flagging it.


Flagging music that you haven't added to your collection:

  • If you're accessing the music section of Google Play at play.google.com/store/music, scroll down to the bottom of the album or track screen and click 'Flag as Inappropriate', then choose the reason type most appropriate for the situation.

  • If you're accessing Google Play on your Android device, click the 'About' tab from the album or track screen and scroll down to the bottom to select 'Flag as Inappropriate', then choose the reason type most appropriate for the situation.

Flagging music that you’ve added to your collection:

  • If you're accessing the music section of Google Play at play.google.com/store/music, click 'My Market Account' at the top right of the screen, then click 'Report a problem' next to the problematic album or track and choose the reason type most appropriate for the situation.

  • If you're accessing Google Play on your Android device, click the 'About' tab from the album or track screen and scroll down to the bottom to select 'Flag as Inappropriate', then choose the reason type most appropriate for the situation.
