You can access this space through a widget, which can be customised and added to your home screen.

Use Collections to discover new content and resume content that's in progress

In Google Play Collections, you can view a collection to discover new app content related to a topic or resume content that you have in progress. Some of the collections available are play games, watch videos, read content and listen to music and podcasts. You can also browse items to shop, look for food or see what's happening on social media.

  • Widget: Through a Play widget, you can view your apps' content recommendations directly on your Android home or app screen.
    • To jump directly into an app, tap a recommended piece of content.
    • To enter the full-screen experience, tap the icon for a collection.
  • Full screen: You can view related apps, resume content that you have in progress, discover new content, get recommendations and view recently used apps all in one place with the full-screen experience.
    • To focus on one topic at a time, choose a tab, such as Watch, Game or Shop.
    • To view all your apps in one place, open the App library.

Use Collections to organise all your apps

By default, any app that's installed and/or updated by Google Play will be organised in the App library, regardless of whether the app supports integration with Collections to recommend app content.

Within the App library, apps are automatically organised by topic, for example:

  • Communication
  • Finance
  • Productivity
  • Social
  • Utilities

There are also sections for 'Top used' and 'Recently added' apps.
