Google Play Music song storage limits

You can add up to 50,000 songs to Google Play Music from your personal music collection using Google Play Music for Chrome or Music Manager (up to 300MB per song). Once you've added your music, you can listen to it through the Google Play Music app and on your computer.

Music purchased from the Google Play Store doesn't count towards your song limit.

Check how many songs you've added

  1. Go to Google Play Music Settings.
  2. Under "Account," you'll see your uploaded songs.

Note: You can free up storage space by removing music from your library.
